Renting from Tahoe Ebikes was an amazing experience! As a casual urban cyclist, I had no idea how much fun I could have on these ebikes. Harry was charming, knowledgeable, and had our whole group's ebikes dialled-in in no time. He then took us out to the trails above Kings Beach, not only did we benefit from his intimate knowledge of the routes, but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the way up the mountain. Boost mode for the win! These machines are insane. We ended up doing 2300 ft, 15.5 miles in 90 minutes, outrageous. You'll be sold on these ebikes faster than you can work your way through the gears.

I review MTB products and thought I understood e-bikes pretty well but until you swing a leg over one and hit the trails you can't fully appreciate the technology. Me and my fiance' recently rented 2 Focus e-bikes from Tahoe Ebikes and went for a quick spin. We covered 13 miles in 1:28hrs with just over 2,000ft elevation gain. The e-Boost made climbing insanely fast/fun and a lot easier for this one-lunged rider but you will definitely put in work. The learning curve is short and the payoff is huge. You can log more miles in a shorter amount of time which works great for those who want a quick adventure or those who don't have the time or the fitness level needed to get up to many of the spectacular views Tahoe has to offer.

Don't be fooled the by the e-bike classification. These are real full suspension mountain bikes that just happen to have an electric motor. They ride like a non-motorized bike in almost all respects and are very poppy and nimble at speed. I ride an Evil The Calling so I'm pretty spoiled yet this Focus e-bike had me grinning the entire time.

Initially came in for some new tubeless tires to install on my mtn bike. Ended up bringing in my wheels to have them swap our the new tires. Had a great experience, Harry walked me through the process and shared a ton of tips, and a plethora of other useful information which I appreciated being fairly new to mtn biking. Lifelong customer made today, will absolutely be coming back.

I recently visited the store to inquire about basic tire repair and was met with an unfriendly employee. When I mentioned that the Olympic Bike Shop charged only $20 for a tire change and asked if they would price match, she rudely replied, "Well, go there then." Overall, it was an unpleasant customer service experience. Additionally, their prices seemed higher. Olympic Bike Shop's inner tubes were priced at $18.99, whereas theirs were $25, despite being listed online for $18.99 for the same brand. Would not come back. Olympic bike shop was way better.

I have purchased two electric mountain bikes from Tahoe Ebikes. I had them assemble and also add accessories to both bikes. The service is professional, and it's a quick turnaround when you need a tube replaced or a tune-up! As a local here in Kings Beach, I am so glad they are in town and offer such top-notch customer service. Tahoe EBikes also rents cruiser ebikes. When I have guests in town (that don't mountain bike), they offer hourly and daily rental rates. It's a fun way to get around town. If you are looking to purchase or rent cruiser bikes and/or mountain bikes- I highly recommend checking out Tahoe EBikes ....

Such a fun experience! Went with a group, and the shop was very friendly and accommodating. We had about 15 people in the group, from very beginner to intermediate and expert level mountain biking.
We had a great time riding the trails.
Will definitely be returning!

This was a fantastic experience. Harry is friendly and prompt. The bikes are in great shape. You can choose different settings on the bike to allow you to ride normally, or with the e-assist. For anyone from lower elevations, the e assist is a great help that allows you to cover more ground in a shorter amount of time. It's also great for families that have younger kids who might not be able to keep up with stronger adults. It makes mountain biking a ton of fun, and don't worry, you still have the opportunity to get plenty of exercise! Thanks Harry!

The shop crew at Tahoe EBikes was amazing, managed to get bikes for our group of 6 on a day's notice right before a holiday weekend. Great help playing tetris getting them all into our truck, all of the bikes were in working order and fully charged, helmets looked brand new. Had a great time cruising the bike paths down past Homewood and back!

Don't forget to pet the shop dog!
