Established Mountain biking holiday company offering guided tours round Europes best MTB trails. Experienced guides, friendly staff, great value. Solo and groups welcomed. Airport pickup, hire bikes, breakfast (epic porridge), free! Bar (with nice whisky). Great location.

Great hospitality, food, and riding. Friendly, relaxed, helpful atmosphere. The team worked tirelessly to make sure we were well looked after. Well maintained Giant Trance rental bikes. Apartment very close to beach , excellent breakfast and some great restaurants for the evening if you get a bit off the beaten track (ask the hosts for all the best recommendations) . Group of 10 of us went, we go somewhere abroad every year and would definitely do this one again.

Very pleased with the tour to the mountains around Mijas. Nice trails and beuatiful views. The staff was professional and very friendly and the bike was very good. To sum it up they were super flexible and provided great service, thumbs up!

We arrived on Thursday afternoon then did a local trail with our guide alexia, which was a fantastic trial! Then we headed off on Saturday for the white village tour. This was amazing got to stay in lovely hotels and see the real Spain! Thanks to Alan and matt our guides!

Stayed for 4 days over the Easter weekend. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious for riding, meaning we missed out on two our of four riding days - but this was not the fault of Sierra MTB.
Overall, we valued the flexibilility offered by Sierra, enabling us to book a short break.
The guides, Tom and Clive, were both very professional, encouraging and friendly, and I felt safe being taken down unfamiliar trails. There are clearly a lot of really good tracks to ride should you have the time and weather (and ability) to tackle them.
The accommodation is fine, with space for relaxing and drinks and snacks freely available. The beds in our room were OK, though the bedding felt a bit tired, and my bedframe made a racket every time I moved on it. The bathroom is a bit dated, and on one occasion we were unable to get any hot water after a day's riding (I learned afterwards that the gas cylinder needed replacing which was done by the following morning). The company are renovating a neighbouring property to use so this may be better appointed when it's ready.
While overall we enjoyed our time with Sierra MTB, there were a few things which went wrong for us and other clients there at the same time which gave us cause for concern, mainly in relation to the company vehicles used for upllift and airport transfers, (one vehicle was allowed to run out of fuel on an airport pick up, another one broke down bringing us back to the accommodation) and one of the drivers who had two risky incidents on and off road while we were there. This makes me hesitate to return unless something changes, which is a real shame as the rest of the company and the set up is really good.
